Dorothy Koval: It is a wonderful cityscape, and Isabella Grandin was certainly a dear friend of Polly’s. Thank you so much for contacting us.

I was excited to see that we own one of the charcoals on your website (in the landscapes, cities section). It's called On Clarendon Street, and it depicts the uppermost gables and turrets of the buildings there. I believe my husband's aunt, Isabella Grandin was a contemporary and a friend of Polly's!

Dorothy Koval: Helen, we really appreciate your kind words and attention to this site!
Interesting site. As a former owner of one of her portraits (of my mother-in-law, Mrs. Jean Fleming, a neighbor of hers in Boston) it was interesting to see similar works.

This site is wonderful. This has been my first visit, and I have only begun to appreciate all that is here. Thank you so much for assembling these materials, and for your beautifully written biography. What a privilege to be guided by one who knew and loved her so well.
Dorothy Koval: Thank you, Alan. And thank you, too, for the photograph of your mother-in-law’s portrait!
